Solo Owner and Operator: Andrew Lisk
Andrew Lisk started out as a typical teenager in middle school with a mindset of success and determination with just one lawn to take care of. In 2013, Andrew founded Lisk Lawn Care while still a student at Marietta High School. After graduating, Andrew was able to focus full time on his business and grow Lisk Lawn Care into a well established lawn care service in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Andrew is known for his quality work and positive attitude. He looks forward to many great years of working for amazing clients in the area.
Andrew’s passion for Washington County has led to his involvement in 4H and FFA. Andrew is an active supporter of local fairs, often purchasing livestock from area youth, and also sits on Parish Council at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption.

Local History
Marietta, Ohio is a picturesque river town located on the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum Rivers. Established in 1788 and the first permanent settlement of the Northwest Territory, the city was named after Marie Antoinette in honor of France’s role in the Revolutionary War. Brick streets lined with lush hardwood trees and ornate Victorian homes make Marietta one of the most idyllic cities in the Midwest.
Support the Friends of the Washington County Fairs Livestock Sales Fund
In October of 2023, Andrew Lisk partnered with Marietta Community Foundation and Ohio State University Extension-Washington County to establish the Friends of the Washington County Fairs Livestock Sales Fund. The primary goal of this fund is to close the gap with livestock exhibitors looking to sell their livestock. The prices each species brings can vary from year to year and not every exhibitor has ties to businesses and individuals locally, which can leads to large disparities in the prices animals are sold for at the sale. The Friends of the Washington County Fairs Livestock Sales Fund will help each exhibitor receive closer to the perceived average for that species in proceeds from the sale.
To join Lisk Lawn Care in supporting the Friends of Washington County Fairs Livestock Sales Fund, please consider making a donation online or by mailing a check to the Marietta Community Foundation at P.O. Box 77, Marietta, OH 45750 Attn: Heather Allender and include “Livestock Fund” in the memo.
